Hi, friend! I am a Clinical Functional Nutritionist born and raised in Maryland and currently making roots in a beach community right outside of LA. I have spent the last few years working in a diabetic clinic where I would help people reverse their diabetes and get off insulin and medication. I have also been working with celebrities to optimize their health and get ready for new roles.
I have my Master’s Degree in Nutrition from Maryland University of Integrative Health, I am also a health coach and a budding herbalist.
I am passionate about helping people optimize their blood sugar, and reverse type 2 diabetes using a natural, personalized lifestyle approach.
My approach is backed by science. I study and learn how diseases develop and how they can be treated or reversed, I decipher data for statistical significance, distinguish causation from correlation and educate my clients on the research in a digestible way.
My philosophy of nutrition embraces real food, herbal medicine and mindfulness. It isn’t about fad diets, labeling, calorie counting, or bland food. It’s about nourishing your body with clean whole foods that don’t elevate your blood sugar, increase inflammation or cause digestive issues. I teach you how some foods make us gain weight and feel sick and can cause serious health problems. And I’ll show you how some foods help you lose pounds, and rediscover your optimal weight.
Our bodies are not biologically designed to diet. They’re designed to be fed, to respond to real hunger signals, and to feel energized and satisfied by the foods we eat. No one is born to be sick, fat and unhealthy.
Give your body the food it wants, when it wants. After all, it’s smarter than we are!
